We’re teaming up with San Diego Media Pros for a Summer Sync Up at Stone Liberty Station in Liberty Station. Whether you joined us for The 48 and Beyond in May or you’re just starting to explore the competition, come mix and mingle with media production professionals and filmmakers — learn about colleagues, their projects, and line up your team for the 48 Hour Film Project. City producers Chrissy Raven Kilna and Kilna Anthony will be on site to answer questions.
Whether you are in front of the camera or behind it… cast, crew, and helpers of all kinds have an opportunity to find and form teams before kickoff. Have a team already? Then this is an opportunity to network, to discover more talent, or simply hang out with like-minded 48ers and potential-48ers!
Even if you’re only curious about film-making, we would love to see you from 6-9pm on Tuesday, July 7th at Stone Liberty Station.
The 48 Hour Film Project is the longest running and most popular timed filmmaking competition. Amateur and professional teams around the world make movies over a weekend, which are later given a premier in a real theater. San Diego’s 2026 competition weekend begins Friday, August 28th.
